Inowize Launches QBIX Play, the Open Edition of QBIX, Expanding Immersive Group Gaming
Inowize introduces QBIX Play, the newest edition of the QBIX immersive gaming room platform, built with the purpose of attracting younger audiences and creating a powerful visual and experiential magnet inside modern entertainment venues.
Built on the proven foundation of QBIX, QBIX Play’s goal is to make group play more accessible, more spontaneous, and more flexible for operators. While QBIX has established itself globally as the Pro version for high-performance immersive group gaming, QBIX Play expands the concept.
What is QBIX Play?
QBIX Play is the open-edition of QBIX, designed specifically for younger audiences, family venues, and day-pass entertainment formats.
The attraction maintains the core 6-player simultaneous gameplay model within a compact 13 × 13 ft (4 × 4 m) footprint and includes nine themed multiplayer titles.

New Concept for Immersive Group Play
By removing structural barriers and introducing an open, highly visible format, QBIX Play is designed to increase spontaneous participation while maintaining high throughput per square meter.
QBIX Play was first unveiled as a concept in November 2025 at the IAAPA Expo, where it was introduced as new edition of the immersive gaming room. Following strong industry interest, the product has now been installed in two U.S. locations: FunVille and AR’s Entertainment Hub (see photos).
